Bracknell Parochial Church Council (“the PCC”) adopted the following communion before confirmation policy.

Bracknell Parish welcomes baptised children to Holy Communion before Confirmation, in accordance with the Church of England's Admission of Baptised Children to Holy Communion Regulations 2006 and the guidance of the Diocese of Oxford.

Children will be admitted to Communion following appropriate preparation, with the involvement and agreement of their parents or carers where appropriate.

The admission of children to Communion before Confirmation will be regarded as part of their continuing journey of Christian discipleship. Children and their families will continue to be encouraged and supported towards Confirmation when they are ready.
