Harvest: giving thanks and caring for creation

Holy Trinity's Harvest focus on 27 September brings together gratitude, generosity and practical care for God's creation.

Published Sunday 27 September 2026 Parish Office

Caring for creation is the theme of Holy Trinity's Harvest services on Sunday 27 September 2026. Harvest invites us to give thanks for all that God provides and to consider how we can share what we have with others.

This year's Harvest appeal supports Bracknell Foodbank alongside our regular weekly collection. The requested gifts include tinned meat puddings, vegetables, ham, fruit, tomatoes and meat pies, and hotdogs in jars or tins.

Taking our care for creation further

The 27 September parish bulletin highlights resources to help us connect faith with practical action for the environment and for people most affected by climate change.

  • A Rocha UK, the Christian charity behind Eco Church, offers ways to care for the natural world.
  • Christian Aid works with communities facing poverty and injustice, including the effects of climate change.
  • WaterAid works to improve access to clean water and sanitation.

Our Eco Church page is a place to find out more about the parish's commitment to caring for creation. Thank you to everyone supporting our Harvest collection and putting generosity into practice.
